We are having very low pH cooling water (0.5 to 1.5) in our phosphoric acid plant (PRAYON process) which is cooled in an atmospheric cooling tower. We are having problem of very high corrosion in this tower &amp; then associated problems starts. In turn tower performs very poorly with approach of 11°C as compared to design of 4°C.<br>
I would like to have a solution to increse the pH of this water which conatins ~46 gms/litre Sulphuric acid &amp; 1.5% H2SiF6. Water flow is 3000 M3/hr.
