Hello friends,

Can any one help me to design a three phase separator for tretement of oil wells produced fluid?

I need some bibliographic references if possible.

Thank you very much.

Try these references:

1. "Design Two-Phase Separators within the Right Limits", W.Y. Svrcek, W.D. Monnery, CEP, October 1993. This article was followed with a letters to the editor and a correction in one of the equations but I don't have the date for that.

2. The companion article on Three-Phase Separators is, "Successfully Specify Three-Phase Separators", same authors, CEP, September 1994. Note that the correction in the one equation I mention above is corrected in this article.

3. "Design of Liquid-Liquid Gravity Separators", J. Bocangel, Chemical Engineering Magazine, February 1986

4. "How to Design Settling Drums", B. Sigales, Chemical Engineering Magazine, June 1975
