Dear all,
Which parameters should be considered for low temperature study of closed drain systems?
In our gas gathering and NGL recovery project the minimum design temperature of closed drain drums and pumps is set to -91°C in our existing FEED documents.
I wonder which situation could occur to justify the setting of such a low temperature?
Minimum ambient temperature? For our project this value is equal to 0°C.
I heard about gas blow-by scenario but I doubt this scenario can result such low temperatures.
Your valuable comments are appreciated.
Cheers.
