I posted a question some time back about the use of explosion vent panels.

I received no replies so I went away and tried to do some research. I still have the problem but its now somewhat refined so I thiought it was worth posting again for the benefit of all readers.

I am designing a sugar storage system and need to provide for the risk of explosion. I am assuming standards such as API 520/521 are not applicable for this scenario (I could be wrong) - can anyone give me any guidance as to how to design an explosion over-pressure system.

Thanks in advance
