Hi Guys,

I am an undergraduate student working on a design project, My goal is to design a stripper column used in carbon capture plant(absorption type) where the solvent (MEA) containing carbon dioxide is heated to give up CO2 within the stripper column.(then the CO2 is compressed and stored)

So if any of you guys know a good book on this or any electronic sources, please share, thank you.

Get yourself familiar with amine absorption and regeneration processes: applications, flow schemes, process parameters, solvent loading, solvent circulation rate and reboiler (regeneration) duty etc. The most common and frequently cited resources are:

GPSA Databook
Kohl & Nielsen, "Gas Purification"

http://www.sulphurexperts.com/AmineExperts.../AxMainPage.htm

Google around, and you'll find a bunch of good materials.
