Dear fallah,Hello/Good Evening,
Although I waited that someone better acquainted with codes/standards knowledge will come forward on this issue, however I reproduce below from my memory some info about a 'Live fire drill ground' during my stay at my previous employer basically utilized for Fire fighting Staff Training. Although not very sure if this is what you wanted.
We had a pit
around 12~18 inches in depth(approx.) & approx. 25ftX25ft(LengthXBreadth) square shaped block masonary containement and having Block Valve Isolated drain-out connection with they main oily water system.
The remote location was having approach road on all four side(s) and
nearest property more than 150 ft away from each side and
whole area fenced. I do not recall exact design details/dimensions ;however this had the thoughts of our previous(deceaesed) Fire &Safety (Genius) Legend behind its inception.
This truely helped us a lot in real Fire combat scenarios indeed.
          Hope this proves useful
          Regards

                  Dear Qalander
Thanks a lot for your kind response. But as far as i investigated, the dimensions of Burn Pit should be determined by relevant vendor. If you have any idea in this regard, please kindly submit.
                  Regards

                  Dear fallah,
I am confident that first you have to define your own needs about testing ,fire fighting practice or any other reference; this is needed to calculate heat load/safe conditions at the pit and surroundings and helps the vendor indeed.
However soonest if I find the reference; you will get this Inshaa Allah.
                  Best regards

                  Dear Fallah,
First I must apologise for the typing error in your name spelling in the other post.

Secondly I just recall that our Fire& safety Legend had rich professional experience abroad at Aramco Ras tanura while this was jointly managed in early days;therefore Aramco refinery standards/practices might be quite useful.
If you manage to access these. However if I get some useful info that will be forwarded thru the forum.
                  Regards
