How can one know whether stub-in/stub-out or fitting connection is required or not
for branch connection & in fitting type whether one should go with Tee or olet ?

Hi,
Your problems are about mechanics of piping system. Actually, chemical engineers are not familiar with these problems. So if you need the answers urgently, you should ask the mechanical engineers or applied engineers in pipiing industries, not here.

They will utilize pipe specs for answers to questions such as yours. In the pipe specs, you should find your company or project's preferences for fitting types, which will answer your question.
