Hi all,

I have a problem regarding modelling of cooling tower in HYSYS. Is it possible to simulate the same. if then, how?

Hi

Cooling tower is the same as absorber. It can be simulated as an absorber in HYSYS. Tell me in detail what problem are u facing in simulating Cooling tower.

1. In actual the internal structure of cooling water is different from absorber. How does HYSYS takes that into account while performing heat and mass transfer calculation?
2. If assumed that it someway it takes care of it, how many stages do i need to take for simulating?
