There are no spreadsheets to send, nor magical equations to transmit for the instant siziang of rupture disks.

There is however, an excellent series of 6 articles by Phil Leckner on this very subject and found at:

You have an experienced and learned author at your disposal in Phil Leckner on the subject of rupture disks and PSVs. If I were you I would quickly download all this information and make hard copies for reading and studying in detail. You are very lucky to have this - thanks to Phil's hard work and Chris' generous efforts in helping out young Chem Es.

No doubt about notes by Mr. Phil. I was assigned for Rupture disk calculations and since I didnt know where to start his notes were very helpful in making my task easy. And now I can confidently say that I know much more about Rupture Disk than I knew 6 months back.

Also as said by Mr. Narang, I agree with him that you should definetly read API 521 for even I find something new in it when I read.
