Elastic Center

Elastic Center computes the thermal bending moments and torques of each segment in a simple piping system. The method was developed by M.W. Kellog and yields very good results ("Validation of Results" document included). Comes with a table that can be customized to include your own pipe specification designations. Elastic Center is packed full of critical pipe data, so there's no need to enter it manually. Output is formatted into an easy-to-read calculation data sheet. Utilizes English units of measure.
Belt Drive Length

Calculate the length of a drive belt to fit two pulley wheels by providing the large and small wheel diameters and the centre distance. If the belt length is already known then the calculation finds the centre distance. The calculation includes both metric and US units.

Use this calculation to check the performance of operating 3 phase electric motors during plant commissioning or trouble shooting. From the motor nameplate data and actual phase currents calculate the actual load to confirm satisfactory operation and loading conditions. Both English and SI metric units are included.
Valve and Flange Rating Data
Quickly access the pressure vs temperature ratings of the most common high pressure pipe flanges and valves. Flanges to ANSI B16.5, BS 1560 and MSS SP-44 and valves to API 6D, ANSI B16.34 and BS 5351 are included in the most common materials. Pressure classes 150 through 2500 are provided. The data is provided in simple tables with interpolated values calculated for any given pressure or temperature and a chart which plots your own range of pressures and temperatures against the rated values. A variety of charts demonstrate the comparisons between pressure classes, codes and materials. The calculation uses SI metric units.
Mechanical Coil Spring Calculation

Provide the wire diameter, coil diameter, number of coils and free length along with the wire material properties and determine the force, deflection and shear stress under various loading conditions.
