I am requested to include in DCS realtime values for cricondentherm, heating value and hydrate formation temperature for a natural gas,
composition (C1 to C9 + CO2, N2 and H2S) from in-line analyzers,
the software provided with analyzers doesn't include all the data required by client and I am looking for a interface to process simulators, we have different ways to calculate values in DCS, with custom procedures (with limited capabilities) or with external applications and OPC and Modbus cards,
Do you know a suitable solution (process simulator or equivalent product) to calculate those properties ?

we have installed this software

http://www.prode.com...hydrocarbon.htm

it includes cricondentherm, hydrate and many other properties,
packages are the same as our simulator (Peng Robinson plus several others) with equivalent accuracy,
our DCS has OPC but Prode is able to connect with Modbus too.
You may also consider to contact DCS manufacturer, some brands as Emerson can propose their software (I do know the features)

thanks Staffel,
we are testing prode software, as far as I can see it could be a good candidate for our application.
