Hi all,

I am just beginning my engineering career. I am working on the development of a flow reactor system.

The idea is to use high pressure (up to 1500 psi) to enable higher temperature reaction (up to 500C) and therefore faster reaction times. The system is currently benchtop scale with very low flow rates (on the order of ul/min).

Because of the nature of solvents used in the chemistry (THF, DMF), it is important to use chemically resistant materials for valves, tubing, etc.

I have been trying to find information for multiport switching valves that can operate at high temperatures. The options I have found so far can meet pressure and corrosion requirements, but not temperature.

If anyone has any knowledge in this area to share it would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Mike

The only valve I know of that handles close to 500 C are Orbit valves sold by Cameron (800 F)
