Hi
I work in company which producess and sells various types of filters (knitted mesh, coalescers, typical filters for solids separation etc). Recently an offer from gas processing company came in to provide them with filters, which will be used as a prefilter. We have everything designed, but one problem arises. For gluing everything together we are using a silicione based glue. We have made some test to see how this glue acts in environment simmilar to natural gas, and we put two probes in gasoline and mineral oil. Both probes swelled and lost their integrity. They can be easily ripped apart just by using hands. And here is the question - what kind of glue is the best option for application which demands putting things into natural gas environment ?

In natural gas application, don't use glue to paste the parts. Use welding for joining.
