Hi everyone
I've been doing a project about the Cativa process, but until now I can't seem to find one piece of information. The reason behind naming this process "Cativa". Anyone knows?
Thank you for your time

Calcas,
The Cativa process was developed by BP chemicals and they registered the promoted iridium catalyst used in the process as CativaTM . The TM shown as superscript means Trade Mark.
Why choose the name Cativa, that only BP chemicals who developed the process can answer.
Regards,
Ankur.

Ok, I sent an e-mail to them and now I'm waiting for a reply, but I don't think that I'll get that. In fact is just a curiosity that I have and my team group.
Any way, thank Ankur
