Hi,

Ive attached a process flow diagram, which I took from Coulson and Richardson Volume 6. What are some of the safety issues regarding the process flow diagram?

In that same book, there is a Chapter 9, which touches on safety... In fact, that chapter even has examples pertaining to your flowsheet.

It would be better for you to read that chapter first as safety is a very wide ranging topic and without more specific queries you might get lots of varying answers. Companies typically have an entire department or team of people, commonly called HSE, Health, Safety and Environment to deal with such issues.
