Hello to all,

I have sized the blowdown requirements using the TDS, Silica etc limits of my steam boilers. I want now to size the blowdown vessel.

I can follow the methodology of the manufacturers (spirax sarco etc) but what I would like is a robust standard methodology, "stamped as valid" by an association of process engineers.

I want something that will give me a calculated volume for the blowdown vessel in order to assess the space requirement. I do not need to know about welding, materials etc.

Many thanks in anticipation,
