Dear:

 

Please tell me what will be happen when due to mulfuntion of firing control mulfunction the fuel increases too much but air remain constant?

Is there risk of explosion?

It could be possible some amount if afterburning occurs. But a malfunction of firing control?

control valve of fuel suddenly fully opened and no more air be available for combustion.

this condition cause explosion or not

You should consider implementing safety interlocks and incorporate safe process designs.
It is already burning the fuel. But if your tubes contain high pressure steam or some high pressure flammables and ruptures due to the high temperatures, your boiler would surely explode.

Standard boiler combustion controls work on "lead/lag mechanism" to avoid fuel rich mixture at any point in time during load increase or decrease. In case of load increase, air to be increase first, then followed by fuel (air to lead) and while load is to be reduced, fuel is decreased first and then air is decreased (air to lag). 

 

Sudden opening of fuel without a proportionate match with air carries a risk of formation of explosive mixture inside the fire box, that could lead to explosions

  1. NFPA 8501  "Standard for Single Burner Boiler Operation " or
  2. "Standard for the Prevention of Furnace Explosions/Implosions in Multiple Burner Boilers " NFPA 8502
  3. NFPA 8506: Standard on Heat Recovery Steam Generator Systems

For more specific details please share details of your boiler
