Hello,

For NGL storage tanks, on what basis is the storage capacity determined?

Hi,

I think

Capacity = Tank Volume

Aylool:

Two things I  will address are:

  1. Selecting the size (capacity) of a storage tank is like the father of a family trying to decide what size of house he needs for his family.  Without us knowing how many children and other dependents he needs to house (and when), we can't  even guess what type, size, or configuration of housing he needs.
  2. You have previously posted queries in the Industrial Professional Forum.  This is the Student Forum.  Are you a student or a graduate engineer?  If you are a student, then you should post in the Student Forum.

Thank you,
