Hello,

I am beginning a Pre-FEED study for a multi-well pad. I have obtained a representative gas analysis from the area, however the client has informed me that a 42 API oil (light crude) will also be produced.

Could someone please provide me with an analysis of a sweet 42 API oil that I could use in my initial simulations and sizing to generate a budget cost for units?

Thank you,

So, why doesn't your client provide this data?

Hi,

I have doubt that you have gone through the unit design basis as it will have the entire information about GOR and detailed analysis & that to over a period of few years. Refer the design basis document and you will get the oil details such as TBP distillation, MolWt, Viscosity etc.

Padmakar- I appreciate your response, but no. This data has not been provided by the client. I am currently conducting a PRE-FEED study, which I will use to generate my Design Basis Memorandum. This is a brand new play, and no wells have been drilled yet. The client has approved my representative gas analysis but I have not presented him with a representative fluid analysis.

As NAS already asked: in which country is that oilfield?

Your client needs to hire a consultant. Unless you can provide such a service. Free advice often is of the same value that you spend for it.

Believe me, if this is a real project, you better get some data from the client...atleast some preliminary data.

I am facing the chin music in regards to crude data and product yields for a feasibility study...

If you could tell us which oil field site and the country we are talking about, I can dig something from the crude assay database with me...

Believe me, you need to get the data before you do ANYTHING!

I am facing the chin music for working on limited crude data and questionable yield estimates....

Atleast tell us which field and which country...I can dig the crude assay data with me to see if I can help
