Hi I am a future chemical engineer and to reach that dream I need to graduate this semester, as part of this I need to accomplish first my plant design. My plant design is all about scrap tire pyrolysis. I have started doing the preliminary chapters but I am having problems with regards to the material balances since I can't finalize the flow chart of my plant. Optimum conditions (temperature and pressure) are also my problems since they are difficult to acquire in the net. I hope you can help me out with this matter. This will be a big part of my future as a chemical engineer. God Bless. :)

Why don't you tell us what's your flow sheet plan first?

One of our major concerns in designing the pyrolysis plant are the operating conditions for each equipment and deciding on the capacity of the plant because an increase from 10tons per day will give us a local market share which is that high for a starting plant like us. A lower capacity on the other hand, will lead to a very slow production..I hope you can help us decide and gather pertinent data for the accomplishment of our project..thank you and god bless :)
