I would like to reduce the viscosity of a saturated salt solution whose temperature is about 15 oC. Heating is not an option needed here because I need to maintain saturation. Please does anybody know of some additives (organic surfactants) that can be used to help reduce the viscosity? Or apart from heating, how else can I possibly reduce viscosity of my saturated brine?
