I want to estimate properties for an hydrated compound using ASPEN PLUS. But it does not accept the structure and estimate the properties because structure is broken (since water molecules are not connected to any other atoms through any kind of bonds). So how i do estimate properties of such compounds in ASPEN.

Any sort of help would be highly appreciated.

One should always realise that an estimate generated by Aspen, or any other software tool, is no more than an estimate.

In other words: an educated guess.

If you want properties for a specific compound then you better do a literature search.
