I have a flare header which contain a pipe flange just up stream the flare KOD. Up to my knowledge the arrangment of flare piping (header) should be one piece without fitting.

my question;

Is the flare header satandard requirments allow to have fittings upstream the KOD or the flare stack?

I am not an expert in this area, but here are my two cents -

You could perform acoustic fatigue analysis on the line and see if it exceeds the limit and then perhaps recommend the type of fitting.
