Hello All

I am currently in possesion of HYSYS 3.2(which is quite an old version),as our  company has switched over to another software that suits our job more specifically. But form our database,I obtained certain case files built in newer versions of HYSYS  ,but those can't be opened via HYSYS 3.2.I am in a fix now.

 

Any help in this regard on how to open those files in my older build would be greatly appreciated.

My aim is to convert those cases in .xml format,but as because those files are currently in .hsc format,I can't access them.If you are currently in possession of HYSYS,can you please convert my files into .xml format so that I can open them in my old HYSYS.

if I remember rightly unisim can open hysys file!

At my workplace I have Unisim and Hysys.. when I need to open a unisim simulation in hysys I follow the next steps:

 

1. Open the simulation in Unisim

2. Click File -> Save As

3. Select the XML case extension (*.XML)

4. Open Hysys and from Hysys File -> Open Case -> Select XML type and then the simulation you just converted in XML

 

Hope this will help you.

 

P.S. For complex simulations i observed some differences in the simulation results between Hysys and Unisim.
