hello every one!

I am trying to enter assay data into Hysys and KBC Multiflash programs. I know that the minimum suggested information should be:

1. TBP curve

2. Density/SG curve

3. MW curve

The assays I have provide the TBP curve, however the density and MW curves are giiven only per fraction, e.g. Light Napthas' sg and MW etc.

Is it possible to derive the sg curve from the fractions' data? E.g. can the sg of a fraction be assumed to correspond to the mid volume yield of the fraction, and thus derive the density curve for the whole crude from its Naphthas, Gasoline , residue groups etc??

Thanks for your help! ;)

You can calculate density curve from hysys after installing the crude assay, make its blend and plot curve ( Property Plot)  of whatever the property you want including density .

I wouldn't do that.

You must use distillation and density values of cuts independently. MW can be derived from this info.

Of course you will find lot of programs, methods and papers to calculate density from distillation curve but that isn't preferable / reliable method.
