Hello everyone,

 

I am new to Aspen plus simulation. I was trying to carry out a simulation for the esterification reaction between acetic acid and ethyl alcohol in a CSTR. The product of this reaction is ethyl acetate and water. What I am not able to understand is what should be the reaction type I should choose. Since the product has water too, I am not able to understant whether the reaction phase should be only liquid or liquid-free water type?
