Dear all,
Good Morning. This query is related to expectancy of two phase flow in the LNG truck loading line.
A 2" tie- in on 24" header is available to transfer the LNG into trucks.
We proposed 3" loading line to transfer 25 m3/hr of LNG into trucks.
The loading line is around 300m from header and well insulated.
Op. pressure and temp of LNG header at tie in is 6 barg and -160 deg C.
Op. Pressure of Truck is around 1.2 barg.
We assumed single phase flow through pipe while performing hydraulics and proposed a transfer flow rate of 25 m3/hr.
If there is any small fraction of vapor in the flow line, it greatly impacts the pressure drop.
Do you expect any two phase flow in the line based on above op. conditions due to heat leaks into the pipe or due to flashing?
Thanks in adavnce...
