Hello,

 

I am suppose to design a activated carbon adsorber for adsorbing Hydrocarbon vapors generated during the filling of gasoline into a tanker from a storage vessel. I also need to regenerate the bed after it is saturated, regeneration takes place by a vacuum pump and a subsequent absorber system. So the system would consist of two adsorber beds. I want to calculate the adsobent volume needed, the vessel height and diameter, the time for saturation and regeneration of the beds.
