Hello

When do we use Stainless Steel Piping in Compressor Suction?

When we do need SS piping then from where should we start the piping from KOD, from inlet strainer or just a spool at compressor suction?

I am looking at produced gas mostly methane.

regards

saqib

engg,

Where there would be corrosion and/or low temperature concern(s), it might SS piping material has to be used. Then let's know if such concern(s) is existed in the system you described...

the fluid is natural gas with H2S at 28 barg. It may drop off water in cool weathers. is this corrosive?
