Hi, would like to check out for Hydrogen explosion related.
I am in an industry where the products release hydrogen as a by-products in our tank. We have two separate tank that has an explosion recently.
Tank A has known for product storage that release hydrogen
Tank B meanwhile will have minimum hydrogen.
Both tank has no open vent point but is rather connected by a vent pipe towards an open huge tank
Both tank is hardly link to each other.
When incident happened, both tank top is blasted open and both tank vent pipe is blasted
It is clear that this is an hydrogen explosion
However, it is unclear that how can Tank B with minimum hydrogen exploded at the same time as Tank A
From all the info that we get, it is only one explosion occured
Is it possible that Tank A with hydrogen gases, those gas went through Tank B vent pipe into Tank B
And when Tank A explosion triggered Tank B exploded at the exact same time?
Any comment will be helpful
thanks
