Krishna ,

Forget this document ! Without reference , units, it's a waste of time . Better to stick to any textbook dealing with fluid dynamic .

Among them Crane TP 410 , pipe flow a practical and comprehensive guide , etc ,....

Moorthy,

Can you please specify what is the required clarification ?

Line sizing depends on the fluid / velocity considered..

Breizh is absolutely correct in his comments.  If you are serious in resolving your pipe sizing challenges by generating your own algorithms, then you need to refresh your fluid mechanics.  However, there is a better, faster, and more efficient way to resolve pipe sizing problems: let an expert do this for you through already developed algorithms.

One of the best methods to determine the appropriate pipe size is the method that Steve Hall employs in his excellent PIPESIZE program.  I highly recommend you visit our website’s software store and buy this program for sizing your piping systems.  It is accurate, detailed, documented, and done in a professional manner - plus it is very inexpensive.  I have used this program on many offshore and onshore projects to check pipe sizes and it works very well.  Just go to:  http://www.cheresour...ct/66-pipesize/
