Hi,

Is anyone come across split range level control valve in a separation tank? It would be appreciated, if you give some examples how it operates, controls final control element associated with tank inlet and outlet line.

Thanks & Regards,

Ramesh Ravi

I'm answering this query because it gives the opportunity to upload an excellent document on level instrumentation by a great expert in instrumentation, Walter Driedger.   If you read the entire document, you will find how he deals with the application of split range controllers and when to avoid their use.   I hope you read the entire document because it is full of profitable learnings.
