Hi,

Basically I am trying to simulate a full LNG plant for my final year design project, I am hitting quite a few speed bumps trying to get the Propane and Mixed Refrigeration Pre-Cooling to work as the feed rate of the propane needs to be adjusted to meet the requirements but I cannot seem to put in an adjust to successfully change the the propane flow rate to get it too cool the NG and MR enough to get it to converge. Is it even possible to do it this way or is there an alternative way to model C3MR

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me crazy! Thanks

You should begin with simple operations. For example, use a cooler to chill the mixed refrigerant instead of a propane refrigeration system. Get this to work, then add the complications.
