Dear Sir,

I have a problem regarding flushing a pipe line. A pipe line is having stagnant clarified oil at a temperature of 25 degree Celsius in it. i want to pump FO at a temperature of 70 degree Celsius through the same pipe line. How to calculate the required flow rate of FO required to displace the CLO and how to calculate the temperature of FO at the outlet? the maximum allowable pressure drop is 12 kg/cm2 and the length of the pipe line is 10 kms.
