Dear,

How is accurate or reliable to determine oxygenates content of gasoline according to test method EN 238.

Which is the best test method for determination of oxygenates content in gasoline.

ASTM D 6277 which is similar (equivalent) to EN 238 applies to benzene in gasoline (spark ignition fuels). The method does not say its applicability to oxygenates but says that oxygenates interfere.
