Dears

 

Hi

 

Our company is requested to design a tank farm for about 12 chemicals. We shall receive these 12 liquids base on a certain quality. So some analyzer shall be considered to be sure about feed quality. is there any codes, philosophy or criteria in order to specify which liquid parameter shall be analyzed to be sure that the received feed is not off spec? For the first step what document should I have prepared??

Hi Farnaz,

 

For a chemical as feed the relevant MSDS is the best reference to evaluate if meets pre specified composition and characteristics. The parameters which should be evaluated depend on the chemical type and application. 

You can rely on relevant "Certificate of Analysis" as an authorized document has been issued by a reputable company from which you are intended to supply the chemical...
