Dear Experts,

I am currently working on an FLNG project where I am trying to find out if cofferdam is required to separate MEG and produced water on the hull.

Cofferdams are generally provided to separate each cargo tank of LNG and Condensate.

As per my understanding, cofferdam is required between MEG tank and produced water tank :

1) so as to maintain 90% wt MEG specification for MEG injection to subsea.

2) Also the MEG regeneration system is designed for maximum produced water MEG content of 100 ppm wt.

But my senior colleague might have not observed this in his previous experience, hence the confusion.

Please advice.

Thanks in advance.

regards,

Yogesh
