Hey Guys

There is probably a very simple solution to this but I can't figure it out.

I want to print certain properties from a stream in HYSYS

I know you can select the stream, select print and select  properties / composition / k factor  etc

Is there any way to specify the specific properties you want to print for each phase

For example if I just wanted to show Pressure / Temp / densities / compressibility etc on the datasheet output and not the whole lot of properties which I don't want.

I can transfer the data I want manually to a datasheet, but it would save so much time if I could specify what I want from each stream directly from HYSYS and print it off.

Thanks

ChemEng01,

One of the ways is to use VBA codes.

Please refer below link, which shall help you to write VBA codes to import Hysys calculated values (e.g. density, viscosity etc.) from your Hysys file to Excel (datasheet) sheet.

http://www.cheresour...sys-gas-cooler/

It's quite simple if you try yourself.

I'll be glad to help you with the codes, if you post your Hysys file and Datasheet excel sheet (with the desired properties).

Regards.

And download HYSYS Stream Reporter from the AspenTech site. All the code you need is in it. You can then develop your own code to do whatever you wish. You will find other samples at the site, too. You will be glad to learn.
