We have a chemical storage tank with its vapor recovery system being controlled on split range/N2 blanketing. (20" Vapor line =>Condenser=>3" vapor line =>PV valve=>Blower=>Incinerator).

The condenser cooling system remain isolated since its commissioning, so we are operating without it normally.

We need to install another tank in parallel, but we don't want to install the condenser and new blower, assuming that only one tank will be online at the time. All the pump in and outs will be same.

Problem: The tanks are at 30m distance, Can't find out the basis of 20" line going into the condenser while outlet of condenser vapor line is 3" size. I need to tie-in the new tanks vapor recovery line on new PV to existing tanks blower system. Need hydraulics guidelines in this scenario.

Attached you can find out the detailed drawing of the both the tanks and in between them is another tank which is on different service.

Regards.

Dal.
