Dear All,

I have a question about gas dehydration.

I am checking into glycol dehydration. The problem is that the salinity of water in feed gas is expected to be 45-55 ppm. I would like to know how bad it is for the TEG unit.

I would like to know about the following:

1 - what is the maximum amount of salt content in ppm is allowed in water that is present in the feed gas?

2 - Is it possible to remove salt content from TEG?

3 - What would be the possible solution to treat salt in water that is present in the feed gas? I also heard that there is no way to treat salt from glycol and the only option is to use new fresh TEG time to time.

Could you please share any information regarding above mentioned points?

Thank you very much,

Kind Regards

Jatinder
