Dear experts

I'm learning about Recycle Unit in HYSYS, but I don't pretty much understand about it. I really want to know how it runs and, how the parameters should be set to reach the converge, just because I'm not clear about this unit, so hope you guys can help me understand it.

Thank you for your time and reply

Just provide estimate for the output stream. Default parameters should be satisfactory to reach a solution.

Hysys "Recycle" operation is for sending a processed stream back upstream operation.  It takes a few iterations to reach the specified similarities of the inlet and outlet of "Recycle" operation.  You should convert your simulation without the recycle outlet stream link with the upstream operation first to allow your recycle outlet stream with initial values. Then, you connect the recycle outlet stream to the intended upstream unit to have the simulation results with the recycle operation.
