Dear All,

In a FPSO I have hot water available (170ºC feed, return 130 ]C) at the hot water system, and I need to heat the separation plant process piping plant  for maintenance (55ºC), and heat-up (25 to 70ºC) when necessary (after long duration shutdown),  in order to avoid wax formation or dissolve wax.

Is there a way to size a trace system in order to use hot water, or I must use electrical or steam heat trace ?

Thanks in advance,

BJMAC
