I know that Prode Properties allows to change units by code
or with Dialog Editor and that I can save all units and settings in files,

(menu Save a Archive in Excel)
it may seem a stupid question but how can I change the default units and settings ?

I wish to set all units to US as default

you can simply save the desired values on ppp.def ,

the file which Prode Properties utilizes to store all defaul values

1) define your preferred units, settings etc.

2) save (menu Save a Archive in Excel) with the name def.ppp

then Properties will load your preferred units

so, it's the def.ppp file,

I had forgotten that,

thanks marchem,

I presume it works as other files,

storing all data including all stream's compositions.

yes, you can store preferred units, settings, compositions in def.ppp,

another possibility is to use a script,
