Dear All,

I hope everyone here is doing good.

I need some help/light on Valve proving test or leak tighness test which is carried out to check the tightness of TSO valves installed on fuel gas and pilot gas headers of heaters.

How are these test carried out ? In my project  licensor have specified that valve proving system is to

designed as per european standard EN-1643 during Detail Engineering.

when i reffered to this standard i came to know that valve proving system is a package which is supplied

by expert vendor and this standard is a guideline for vendor to design VPS system.

I would like to know if there Is any proven or previously carried out method for manually  carrying out this

tightness test without using automatic system package.

It would really be helpful if you expertise share your knowledge on same.

I have attached EN-1643 and FG header schematic. Valve proving test has to be carried out for these valves UV-003, 004, 005, 301, 302....312
