I am facing problems in determining the cause of low TR (Tons of Refrigeration) in a VAM (Vapor Absorption Machine) installed to utilise low grade heat from excess steam.

The data are as follows :

Model : Single Effect Vapor Absorption Chiller Steam Driven - Thermax India

Design TR : 500

It is supplying chilled water to 3 chillers .

 Chilled water

TR1 144.79

TR2 128.47

TR3 145.24

Totalised TR  418.5 2

Tin °C 16.1

Tout °C 9.33

Flow 1 m3/hr 62.75

Flow 2 m3/hr 65.28

Flow 3 m3/hr 62.75

Total Flow m3/hr 190.78

Vacuum mm Hg 7

Steam

T °C 114

Flow m3/hr 2553.79

Cooling Water

Tin °C 29.3

Tout °C 35.5

LiBr

Generator Temp. °C 98

LiBr Spray Temp. °C 65.44

Conc. % 63.5

Can Someone having experience in dealing with VAM Systems suggest solutions !!
