I'm looking for a way to estimate the pressure drop through the flare tip and I have encountered a figure from http://webwormcpt.bl...ssure-drop.htmlas per below

 

 

 

My question is, is there anyone know what is the original reference for this figure? Is it from a handbook, codes or flare vendor?

This looks like a old design aid from a flare suppller, possibly John Zink.
