Hi all,

We are working on flow chemistry in Micro reactor. Recently i was given to perform a flow reaction. Its a simple molecule with difficult to perform in micro reactor.

I am suppose to perform the reaction at 160oC (at higher temperature reaction initiates). The solvent used is DMF. So in batch if we perform this reaction at temperature the reaction mass becomes solid at 150oC which is not at all feasible for micro reactor. So in order to make my product homogeneous i have chosen water. In which the yield is very low. I have tried with different solvents but which are not of any use. I think the problem lies in the engineering aspect??.

If i try any of concerns in micro reactor the fulidic modlue may break, which are of qut expensive.

So please suggest any trouble shooting steps.

Thank you.
