Bacillus subtilis was cultured at 35°C in a reactor with a working volume of 20 m3 and aeration rate of 1.25 vvm. Dissolved oxygen concentration inside the liquid medium was at 50% saturation. Oxygen solubility in the liquid medium aerated with air at 1 atm was 6 ppm. Volumetric flow rate of air exiting the reactor was at 407 L sec-1, measured using a gas flow meter. Oxygen content of the air was 20.15% (v/v).

- Calculate the oxygen transfer rate and  volumetric oxygen mass transfer coefficient (KLa).

- If the rate of oxygen consumption by the cells is 7.4 mmol g cell-1 h-1, what is the maximum cell concentration that can be attained without oxygen starvation?

I don't know which information in the question and the formulas I must us. Any one can help answer the above questions?
