Dear all

I am doing my acoustic induced vibration studies. As per the energy institute guideline i have not considered weldolet connections for the tappings where the LOF is greater than 0.29. I want to know if we tap the PSV outlet line without 450 angle to main header, instead of this if we tap PSV outlet lines at 900 with respeoct to main header then the connections downstream of the PSV with LOF greater than 0.29 will see the Acoustic vibrations? If yes then please also suggest me the solution to account the failure because of the vibrations?

I believe that the sound will not propagate downstream of the high LOF PSV tapping. Please confirm my understanding. Or please let me know is it compulsory to tap the PSV outlet lines to main header at 450 angle to avoid the acoustic induced vibration.
