Dear Engineers,

Now I am checking performance of air fan cooler when the inlet tubeside flowrate increases10%. This equipment is utilized to condensate LPG.

The air fan cooler is designed without margin (for duty and flowrate)

Please advise me how to check performance of air cooler without HTRI.

The construction data of the equipment is available.

I also thought using the method of compare between required duty (Q1) and design duty (Q2).

Where: Q1 is equal to (mc∆T + mƛ) or using simulation.

Q2 is equal to Uclean*A* MTD. (A, MTD is taken from datasheet at normal operation conditions).

However, Uclean means that no fouling, no flow in equipment.

Therefore, I am not sure my idea can be acceptable or not. Please kindly advise me whether it is correct or not.

Hope your reply soon.

Thank you very much.
